Today the Department of Energy’s Bioenergy Technologies Office is hosting a workshop at Arizona State University to strategize how to bring algae-based fuels into commercial production as quickly as possible.
ABO will be attending the workshop and looks forward to discussing how far the industry has come in just the past few years and what needs to be done to take advantage of algae’s potential to meet so many of our energy and environmental challenges. Included in the discussions will be an assessment of the National Algal Biofuels Technology Roadmap (PDF).
