There are more reasons than ever to sign up for the Algae Biomass Summit this Fall in Orlando.
This year we are offering two conference tours for attendees. One will provide some first-hand experience with the technologies and products we are all spending so much of our time developing. Another will be a great chance to meet your fellow attendees while taking in the local attractions.
On Thursday, October 3rd you will have an opportunity to see one of the world’s most advanced algae companies, Algenol Biofuels, located in Fort Meyers, Florida. Algenol’s 70,000 square feet of world-class molecular biology, culture collection, physiology, aquaculture, analytical chemistry and engineering laboratories will be featured, along with the company’s Process Development Unit (PDU), which consists of aquaculture laboratory, inoculation greenhouses and 3 acres of outdoor controlled testing area for initial deployment and optimization activities.
This will be your chance to see first-hand some of the significant commercialization strides within the algae industry.
The Summit tours aren’t just about algae advances, however. Our pre-conference tour on Monday, September 30th, offers fun and inspiring venues to get to know your fellow attendees. We will begin at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex to view the Space Shuttle Atlantis, and have the opportunity to participate in the Shuttle Launch Experience. At lunch, we will be welcomed by the Daytona International Speedway for walk-through tours of the drivers’ meeting room, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series garage areas, Gatorade Victory Lane and a lap around the super speedway.
You can click here to register for these tours. Seats are limited so you will want to act quickly.
Of course, between these tours will be our comprehensive Summit agenda, which includes speakers and presentations from the entire algae value chain. It is going to be an exciting week in Orlando!
