ACCEPT YOUR INVITATION
Confirm your acceptance of the invitation to participate in the Algae Biomass Summit Poster Session as a poster presenter by email to firstname.lastname@example.org by July 1st.
YOUR CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
Complete your Summit registration as soon as possible at: 2023 Algae Biomass Summit Registration* Poster presenters are asked to register by August 1st to secure your spot and confirm your participation in the Summit. ABO members should remember to sign in with your member credentials before you register to receive the ABO member rate.
*If you were a student/postdoc that submitted an abstract before the priority deadline and qualified for the $50 discount on the Summit’s early bird registration, you must contact Barb Scheevel at email@example.com to receive your discount code BEFORE registering.
Begin making travel plans NOW to attend the Summit in October.

POSTER SET UP
No later than 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 9th
When you check in at the registration desk, you will be directed to the location of the poster hall. Set up is from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 9th. Posters must be set up and ready for the exhibit hall opening NO LATER than 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
POSTER TAKE DOWN
After 10: 30a.m. on Wednesday, October 11th
Posters should be removed after 10:30a.m. on Wednesday, October 11th. Posters that are not
removed by 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday may be discarded.
Posters may contain text, tables, photographs, etc. and the most recent data available at the time of the Summit, even if it may not have been included in your abstract. You will be assigned a display area to mount your poster, along with push pins to hang the poster. Posters must have a VERTICAL orientation. The maximum size of the poster should be 36 inches WIDE by 42 inches HIGH. We cannot provide electrical support, tables for demonstration, or other interactive media support at the poster session. We encourage the use of QR codes to direct audiences to contact information, personal portfolio/resume or project websites, online video content, etc.
PDF POSTERS REQUESTED
Additionally, we are requesting a PDF version of your poster be provided for inclusion in the Summit presentation materials distributed to the attendees during and following the Summit. Please send your PDF poster to firstname.lastname@example.org by Wednesday, October 11th for inclusion.
SCHEDULE OF POSTER PRESENTATIONS
All posters will be displayed in the Algae Biomass Summit Exhibit and Poster Hall for attendees to view at their leisure during breakfasts, networking breaks, and evening receptions. We welcome you to stand by your poster and provide information to attendees at your discretion during breaks and breakfasts taking place in the Exhibit Hall. Prior to the Summit a number will be assigned to you designating the location of your poster. This number will assign you to present your poster either Monday, October 10th or Tuesday, October 11th during the evening reception. We also invite you to (optionally) come prepared with business cards or other informational handouts available for attendees.
